Mike Black, Elder

Mike grew up in the church of Christ in Montgomery, Alabama. While serving in the Air Force, he was in several congregations in California, England, and Okinawa, and in 1987, he married Kim. Work brought him to the Madison area, where their daughter, Harmony, still lives.  The diversity of his life and challenging situations has given him a front seat perspective on how God works for good in our lives.

Bruce Nelson, Elder

Bruce had been an elder at the Ringgold church of Christ in Ringgold, Georgia for 10 years before his work relocated him to Milwaukee in late 2017.  The Waukesha church welcomed Bruce and his wife Marie with open arms and put them to work in education. Now being so far removed from all previous commitments allows him greater focus on serving God. Bruce and Marie enjoy traveling the world to see God’s creation in their spare time.
